Your Choice of Camp
The very active gameplay between the various camps is a main part of the great gaming experience at the Dragonfest.
In choosing a camp you decide which camp you will become your home for the duration of the event. Naturally, you can change your camp at any time before the Dragonfest and even on site. Your choice of camp informs us about the estimated camp sizes and tells es how to divide the camp budgets. When changing your camp later, your part of the camp budget will not be reset. Wait...camp budget?!?

The camp budgets
Magnificient scenery and palisades or "just" ambience in the commander's tent or a great barbecue for the whole camp. All these things are wonderful to add to your fun but - up to now - had to be financed internally at the camps.
Which is why we are taking a field test, to support you not only with our own scenery and ambience buildings but also actively add to your own projects and ideas!
For this purpose, we will create a bank account for every camp. For every player buying a ticket for a camp, this camp's account will receive 3 Euros. Which means that a camp with 200 players has 600 Euros! at their disposal.

To avoid misuse we will manage these camp accounts. What's left can be used one of the following years.

Work-flow and how to use this money:
1 - Every camp decides upon a contact person who will be the link between you and us. This system has worked well these last years.
2 - Until the end of May 2009 you plan how to use your camp's budget. Compare prices! Estimate the costs! We can also help you to compare and to get cheaper prices. Don't underestimate the Dragonfest as a major customer at many sellers. Better to get a really good price at one distributor than a thousand small orders from the various camps!
3 - When a final list hast been compiled, we will order all the things you want and transfer the money from your camp's account. You can of course use money even before that. For example to buy cloth.
4 - Things bought with budget money and the things build from these purchases stay property of the Dragonfest and the according camp. They will be available to the camp every year anew. Their storage will be free of charge.
5 - Important! Money transfers/payoffs are only possible against production of a receipt on the name of the Dragonfest.
