Banners and Final Battle
Every camp gets a banner. This banner is to be protected and kept safe for the time of the Dragonfest because only those camps who can raise their banner at the last day, the day of the final battle can fight to win the Dragonfest.

The rules of the Dragonfest

The final battle

  • The winner of the final battle wins the Dragonfest.
  • Only camps who have a place within the dragons' pantheon and have one from their midst carry their banner into battle can fight for the victory of their own camp.
  • The camp whose banner is the last on the site of the battle is victorious.
  • Every camp whose avatar carries their banner into battle can win.
  • Banners captured during the final battle have to be transported to a known security zone.
  • If a camp's banner arrives at the security zone, it is considered fallen. Its camp can no longer win the battle but its fighters can still participate in the battle.

The banners

  • Every camp with a place within the dragons' pantheon has a camp banner.
  • Banners can be won by conquering a camp with one or more banners.
  • Of course, banners can be re-captured in the same way.
  • A camp without banner can no longer be attacked.
Example: The camp XY has lost its banner when conquered and has no other banners as well. Now, the camp XY can no longer be attacked and has time to gather its fighters and organize an attack to get a banner from another camp.
  • A camp without banner can capture any one banner. A camp with a banner (or more) can do this, too, of course.
  • A camp counts as conquered when no defender at the marked fighting place resists anymore. The exact time is determined by the SLs of both parties.
  • Banners, which are not taken at the moment of conquest, cannot be fetched later.
  • A camp's own banner is protected by all other banners the camp owns. Which means, only when all other banners are conquered, their own banner can be taken.
  • Banners have to be displayed at the edge of the camp's fighting zone, or if wanted and possible above its gate.
  • Every camp (even those without their own banner) has to assign a banner carrier for the duration of one day. This person has to change every day as the banner's power would consume hin/her else. Only the banner carrier and the avatar (is present) may carry camp banenrs! The banner carrier or the avatar carries a conquered banner after the fight back to their own camp. Only an avatar can carry its camps banner to lead its fighters into the final battle.
  • It is possible to get the own banner back by other means than conquest (see: The Dragon Eggs).

The Dragon Eggs

  • Dragon Eggs can be won by fulfilling the avatar's tasks.
  • Once put into the camp's sanctum, dragon eggs can no longer be stolen.
  • Four dragon eggs can be sacrificed at the camp's site of power to regain their banner.
  • The avatar can use the eggs' powers to induce special powers for the final battel to 10 fighters per egg.
